Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Wicomico County and Surrounding Areas Friday, December 5
SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Wicomico County and surrounding areas for Friday, December 5.
A wintry mix, including snow, rain, and freezing rain, may impact the region throughout parts of the day, beginning with a possibility of light snow after midnight, followed by snow showers in the morning and early afternoon. Accumulation is forecast at less than half an inch. A slight chance of light freezing rain may follow after 1 a.m. Saturday, December 6.
Roads may become slippery during this time. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and leave extra time for travel. Pedestrians should watch for ice on paved surfaces.
