VISIT SU’S CAMPUS AND GET A TASTE OF LIFE AS A COLLEGE MUSIC MAJOR:

Hosted by the Peter and Judy Jackson Music Program

  • Sit in on classes and ensemble rehearsals
  • Tour campus and meet our faculty
  • Eat lunch with SU students in the campus dining hall
  • Watch current music majors perform

Can't make it for the entire day? Feel free to drop by as your travel schedule permits.

Event is free, but registration is required by Friday, October 2.

All-Shore/All-State Prep Day

Are you a high school band instrumentalist preparing for the All-State audition? Are you thinking about auditioning for All-Shore? Are you considering going to college for music? Join us for SU’s All-Shore / All-State Prep Day. This day will include a general audition skills session, clinics and masterclasses for the Senior All-Shore materials for each instrumental area, a mock audition opportunity for those going out for All-State band, and a showcase concert featuring students and ensembles at Salisbury University. Lunch is provided. Open to all band instrumentalists in grades 9 - 12. Registration $15.00 per student.

SU Orchestra Solo and Ensemble Festival Prep Day

This event gives violin, viola, cello, and bass students preparing for the Orchestra Solo and Ensemble Festival the chance to strengthen their playing and polish their performances ahead of the festival. Students will receive supportive feedback on their pieces, coachings on string specific challenges, as well as solo or ensemble playing techniques. Fee includes lunch at the University Commons.
