Senior Art Shows
73rd Bi-Annual Senior Art Show
Graduating art majors showcase their work in the 73rd Biannual Senior Art Show, titled Echoes, from November 11 to December 13 at SU’s Downtown Gallery.
This capstone exhibition class, taught by Professor Jinchul Kim, highlights the culmination of students’ artistic journeys, allowing them to take the lead in curating a professional gallery experience. The exhibition features a total of 12 students.
These emerging artists showcase a mastery of diverse media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, glass, ceramics, new media, and digital art. Echoes serves as a meditation on memory, perception, and the traces students leave behind. The exhibition title reflects how each work examines the ways those moments continue to resonate—shifting in meaning as they are recalled, reshaped, or transformed over time. Like echoes themselves, these artworks strike a balance between clarity and distortion, presence and reverberation.
