Safety Policies
The safety of our graduates and guests is a priority during the Commencement Ceremonies. As commencement will be held at the Wicomico Civic Center, all attendees are expected to follow the venue's safety, security, and facility policies.
Before arriving, graduates and guests are encouraged to review the Wicomico Civic Center Policies , including information regarding security screening and permitted and prohibited items.
Please allow additional time when arriving at the venue to complete any required security screening and follow the directions of Wicomico Civic Center personnel, Salisbury University staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel throughout the event.

Severe Weather Policy
Commencement ceremonies will be held indoors and will proceed as scheduled in the event of rain or thunderstorms.
In the event of severe weather or an emergency that may impact the ceremonies or travel to the venue, any changes or important instructions will be communicated directly to graduates through their SU email addresses. Updates will also be posted on the Commencement website as appropriate.
Graduates and guests are encouraged to monitor local weather conditions and plan their travel accordingly.
